Product Description
1. Product Overview
This aerial fiber splice & distribution closure integrates optical cable distribution and signal splitting in one unit, supporting direct fiber fusion and cable branching for optical communication wiring. Optical signals are distributed via adapters and jumpers; it also serves as protective connection housing for optical cables and pigtails.
The three-layer enclosure design enables dual use as fiber splitter box or splice closure. The reversible flip panel rotates ≥180° for convenient field installation and maintenance; removing the panel converts the unit into a pure splice closure to meet diverse deployment demands.
2. Core Product Features
1. Material & Reusability: Constructed from high-strength impact-resistant engineering plastic, with standard reusable interface allowing repeated opening and closing. Compatible with one LGX module or steel tube type 1×8 PLC splitter.
2. Outdoor Durability: Built-in anti-ultraviolet, anti-impact and full waterproof performance for long-term aerial outdoor deployment.
3. Optimized Internal Layout: Unique flip panel with ≥180° rotation clearly separates fusion zone and distribution zone, effectively avoiding cable crossing and tangling.
4. Non-Cut Cable Access: Optical cables can be routed into/out of the enclosure without cutting the main cable trunk.

5. Standard Installation Procedure
1. Splitter Module Fixing
Open the enclosure, secure the LGX splitter module inside using nylon cable ties.
2. Feeder Cable Termination & Fiber Storage
Strip outer jacket, inner jacket and loose tube from feeder cable, fully remove cable filling compound. Reserve 1–1.6m loose fiber length and 30–50mm steel strength core. Thread feeder cable through entry port and lock with compression hoop; fasten cable strength member for fiber core fixation. Coil excess optical cable at enclosure bottom, route fused fibers into the splice tray for storage.
3. Pigtail Fusion Protection
Insert pigtail connector into splitter module input adapters, pass pigtail through reserved tray holes into fusion area. After fiber coiling, route the opposite pigtail end into heat shrink tubes inside splicing grooves. Heat shrink sleeves to fuse fiber and protective tube into one unit, lock protected fiber connectors into splicing grooves, and cover with PVC dust-proof caps to prevent detachment.
4. Drop Cable Outlet Wiring
Plug drop cable connectors into splitter module output adapters, fix cables into dedicated fixing slots, then lead cables out through rubber sealing outlets.
5. Final Enclosure Sealing & Aerial Mounting
Route all residual pigtails through outlet rubber seals, close enclosure lid and fasten all locking buckles. Install metal hanging hooks on the enclosure rear, then suspend the unit overhead for aerial deployment.
6. Application Scope
FTTH ODN aerial access networks, outdoor overhead fiber distribution nodes, remote user branch wiring, optical cable fusion & split distribution for residential broadband access.
7. Compliance Notes
All structural, optical and environmental performance meets general FTTH outdoor fiber terminal industry standards, applicable for overhead aerial deployment in all climate zones.
