Product Description
1. Product Overview
This aerial fiber access terminal closure integrates fiber distribution and optical splitting into one unit. It supports direct fiber fusion and cable branching, serving as wiring connection equipment for optical communication networks.
By matching adapters and fiber jumpers, it realizes optical signal distribution; it also provides protective connection for optical cables and pigtails.
The box adopts a unique three-layer internal structure, which can be configured as fiber splitter box or splicing box. The built-in flip plate can rotate over 180°, facilitating field installation and routine maintenance. After removing the flip plate, the product can be used as a standalone splice closure to meet diversified deployment demands.
2. Core Product Features
1. Material & Reusability: Constructed with high-strength impact-resistant engineering plastic; equipped with standard reusable sealing interface for repeated opening and closing.
2. Splitter Compatibility: Supports installation of up to two 1×8 PLC splitters (LGX module type or steel tube type).
3. Outdoor Environmental Resistance: Anti-ultraviolet, anti-impact and fully waterproof performance for outdoor aerial deployment.
4. Optimized Internal Routing: 180° rotatable flip plate clearly separates fusion area and distribution area, effectively reducing fiber crossing and winding.
5. Non-cut Cable Entry/Exit: Optical cables can access and exit the enclosure without cutting the cable jacket, simplifying construction.

5. Standard Installation Procedure
Step 1 Internal Adapter Assembly
Open the enclosure cover and install optical adapters onto the internal plastic adapter holder.
Step 2 Feeder Cable Termination & Fiber Storage
1. Strip outer jacket, inner jacket and loose tube of feeder cable, remove filling grease inside the cable; reserve 1–1.6m length of bare fiber and 30–50mm steel strength member.
2. Pass feeder cable through cable entry port, fasten with hoop fittings, and fix strength plate to lock fiber core.
3. Coil surplus optical cable at the bottom storage zone, route stripped fiber into the splice tray.
Step 3 Pigtail Fusion Protection
1. Insert pigtail connectors into input ports of adapter holder, then pass pigtail through reserved holes into splice tray.
2. Complete fiber coiling routing; lead the bare fiber end into heat shrink tubes inside splicing grooves.
3. Apply proper heating to fuse fiber and protective tube into an integrated assembly, snap protected fiber connectors into splicing grooves, and cover with PVC anti-drop covers.
Step 4 Drop Cable Routing & Fixing
1. Insert drop cable connectors into output-side adapters of splitter module.
2. Fix drop cables into cable fixing slots, then lead cables out through rubber sealing ports.
3. Secure all pigtails in fixing slots and route externally via outlet sealing rubber.
Step 5 Enclosure Sealing & Aerial Mounting
1. Close the cover and fasten all locking buckles to complete enclosure sealing.
2. Install metal hanging hooks on the box body, then suspend the whole unit on overhead aerial lines for deployment.
6. Application Scope
Suitable for FTTH ODN overhead aerial wiring, covering optical signal distribution, fiber splicing and passive splitting for residential user access networks. Designed for long-term outdoor overhead installation under harsh weather conditions.
7. Mechanical & Environmental Compliance Notes
• The IP65 protection level prevents dust intrusion and water splash under all directions.
• High toughness plastic shell withstands outdoor impact, ultraviolet aging and temperature fluctuation.
• Modular internal layout allows flexible switching between pure splicing mode and integrated splitting & distribution mode.
• All cable ports are equipped with elastic rubber sealing to guarantee waterproof performance after cable penetration.
