Product Description
1. Product Overview
Field assembly fast connector (also known as quick-install mechanical splice connector) is a passive fiber termination component designed for FTTH and on-site optical wiring deployment. All ferrule end faces are pre-polished in factory, eliminating field polishing and epoxy glue. It adopts precision V-groove mechanical alignment matching technology, realizing rapid fiber splicing without fusion splicing equipment. The whole termination process can be finished within 2 minutes with only basic fiber tools, greatly reducing on-site construction time and labor cost.
The connector is applicable to harsh construction environments such as utility poles and manholes without extra operation space. It effectively reduces connection failure risks caused by manual operation errors and supports repeated cable reconnection. Besides SC type, the product series covers LC and FC variants, compatible with single-mode/multi-mode optical fibers of 250μm–900μm coated fiber, 2.0mm/3.0mm simplex round cable and 2×3mm FTTH flat drop cable. Single-mode models support UPC and APC ferrule polishing types.
