Product Description
1. Product Overview
This fiber access terminal closure is an outdoor integrated fiber distribution unit applied in FTTx optical fiber networks. It serves as a splicing joint and terminal transition node between feeder cables and subscriber drop cables, integrating fiber splicing, optical splitting, cable distribution, fiber storage and cable routing protection into a single sealed enclosure. It supports up to 16 subscriber access ports and a maximum splicing capacity of 96 fibers, delivering full mechanical and environmental protection for passive optical network deployment.
2. Core Features
1. High-strength Enclosure & Environmental Protection
○ Enclosure constructed from modified polymer plastic, black finish; fully dustproof and waterproof with IP68 ingress protection rating.
○ Mechanical sealing structure supporting mid-span uncut cable entry.
○ Passed IK10 impact resistance testing; robust structure resistant to vibration, extreme temperature fluctuation and high humidity outdoor environments.
2. Modular Fiber Management System
○ Flip-up, rotatable and detachable splice trays for convenient fiber splicing operation.
○ 4 independent splice trays, 24-fiber splicing capacity per tray, total 96-fiber maximum splicing capacity.
○ Internal fiber routing design with fiber bend radius control ≥40mm to avoid signal attenuation caused by tight bending.
○ Optional PLC splitter mounting space: compatible with 1×16 single PLC splitter or two 1×8 PLC splitters installed inside splice trays.
3. Cable Port Configuration & Mechanical Performance
○ 1 mid-span uncut feeder cable inlet (applicable cable outer diameter: 10–16.5mm).
○ 2 reserved distribution cable gland ports (applicable cable outer diameter: 8–13.5mm).
○ 16 subscriber drop cable output ports, supporting FTTH drop cables with outer diameters of 2×3mm, 2×5mm, 4–7mm round cables.
○ Cable tensile resistance: rated pull force 100N; stainless rust-proof bolts and nuts for all fasteners.
4. Humanized Installation & Operation Design
○ 180° openable cover with buckle lock structure for easy access to internal components.
○ Plug-and-play internal assembly, convenient for on-site maintenance and network capacity expansion.
○ Dual installation modes: wall-mounted and pole-mounted.
○ Built-in storage space for loose fiber tubes and micro cables.
