Product Description
1. General Overview
This specification covers a full set of functional accessories compatible with miniature circuit breakers (MCB), designed for low-voltage power distribution cabinets and control systems. All products comply with unified international and European low-voltage electrical equipment standards.
2. Applicable Standards
The whole series of accessories are designed, tested and manufactured in accordance with:
• IEC/EN 60947-1 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear – Part 1: General rules
• EN 60947-5-1 Control circuit devices and switching elements – Electromechanical control circuit devices
Specification
3. Core Functional Characteristics
3.1 Auxiliary Signal Contacts
1. Auxiliary contacts operate synchronously with the main contact system of the matched circuit breaker, reflecting the real-time closed/open status of the main circuit.
2. Independent tripping signal contacts: Activate and output switching signals when the circuit breaker triggers electrical tripping (overcurrent, short-circuit, undervoltage, overvoltage trip).
3. Used for remote status feedback, fault alarm, interlock logic and cabinet indication signal circuits.
3.2 Mechanical Locking Device
Mechanical locking accessory provides physical lock function for MCB, which can fix the breaker in closed or open position to prevent accidental manual operation, applicable to maintenance safety isolation scenarios.
3.3 Shunt Trip Release (SHT)
Remote electrical tripping accessory. Receives external control voltage signal to drive the circuit breaker to trip remotely, widely used in fire linkage, remote power-off and automatic protection systems.
3.4 Undervoltage Release (UVT)
Monitors the input power supply voltage of the circuit breaker. Automatically trips the breaker when supply voltage drops below the specified threshold, to avoid equipment damage caused by low-voltage operation; the breaker cannot be closed when undervoltage condition persists.
3.5 Overvoltage Release (OVT)
Detects abnormal overvoltage of the power supply circuit. Triggers instantaneous tripping once the voltage exceeds the rated upper limit, protecting downstream electrical loads from overvoltage breakdown and burnout.
4. Supporting Technical Documents
Complete technical attachments are provided for installation, engineering design and inspection, including catalogue, 3D model drawings and operation manuals:
1. MCB Accessories Catalogue (PDF format, full series parameter overview)
2. Multiple STP 3D solid drawings for auxiliary contact, overvoltage release, shunt trip release, undervoltage release
3. Separate operation manuals for auxiliary contact and shunt trip release (PDF format, covering wiring, installation and commissioning steps)
5. General Application & Installation Notes
1. All accessories are modular plug-in structure, directly assembled on the side of standard DIN rail mounted MCB without additional modification to the breaker body.
2. Control circuit wiring terminals support standard copper cable connection, with clear wiring mark for easy field wiring.
3. Mechanical and electrical service life meets the test requirements of EN 60947-5-1, suitable for frequent switching and long-term continuous monitoring working conditions.
4. All modules share the same modular width matching standard low-voltage distribution components, saving cabinet internal installation space.
