Cabinet Structure: The frame and enclosure shall have sufficient mechanical strength to withstand wind loads, snow loads, and physical impacts (in compliance with Telecordia GR-63-CORE), without deformation or structural failure.

Mounting Options: Shall support multiple mounting configurations (e.g., pole-mount, wall-mount, ground-mount) with compatible mounting brackets and hardware. Mounting points shall be reinforced to ensure stability under maximum load conditions.

Door Design: The door shall be equipped with a secure locking mechanism (e.g., key lock, padlockable) to prevent unauthorized access. Hinges shall be durable and allow the door to open to a minimum angle of 120° for unobstructed access.

Dimensions: External and internal dimensions shall be optimized to accommodate standard fiber optic components while minimizing the cabinet’s footprint. Internal height, width, and depth shall provide sufficient clearance for cable routing and equipment installation.

Surface Finish: All external surfaces shall have a smooth, uniform finish (e.g., powder coating) resistant to chipping, fading, and corrosion. Internal surfaces shall be free of sharp edges or burrs to prevent fiber cable damage.
